The Rhino 1EC Fan Controller is a simple, affordable way to automate extraction in your grow space. Designed specifically for EC outtake fans, it maintains a stable environment by adjusting fan speed automatically in response to temperature changes, helping protect plants from heat stress and sudden fluctuations.
This analogue controller features three easy-to-use dials that give you direct control over your airflow and climate. The temperature dial allows you to set your target range between 20°C and 30°C, covering ideal conditions for most crops, including heat-loving and tropical varieties. Once set, the built-in thermostat monitors the room and increases or decreases fan speed as needed to hold your desired temperature.
The maximum speed dial sets the highest fan output between 50% and 100%. This helps you limit running costs and reduce noise without sacrificing ventilation. The minimum speed dial sets the fan’s baseline output from 0% to 100%, ensuring a consistent exchange of stale air while maintaining balanced CO₂ and oxygen levels. Together, the minimum and maximum settings create a stable airflow curve that keeps your environment steady and your plants performing at their best.
Setup is quick and straightforward. Simply plug the controller into your EC extraction fan, position the temperature probe in the grow area, and set your dials.
