The Rhino 2EC Fan Controller is a fully analogue environmental controller designed to give growers precise, hands-on control over both intake and extraction fans. When paired with Rhino EC Ultra fans, it delivers stable temperature regulation, balanced airflow, and reliable negative pressure control for healthier plants and a more consistent grow environment.
Like the Rhino 1EC, the 2EC features simple dials for temperature, minimum fan speed, and maximum fan speed. The key upgrade is the additional off-set dial, which allows you to fine-tune intake speed relative to extraction. This is essential for maintaining correct negative pressure, particularly in grow tents, where uneven airflow can cause ballooning or implosion. With the off-set dial, both fans run in synchrony, keeping the environment stable and ensuring stale air is removed efficiently while fresh air is supplied as needed.
The controller is also energy efficient, drawing power directly from the EC fan it is connected to. This removes the need for an external power supply and keeps installation clean and straightforward.
