Telos Growcast is a decentralised wireless lighting control system built specifically for Telos Dynamic fixtures. Unlike traditional controllers, Growcast does not require Wi-Fi, a master hub, separate timers, or a central control unit. Each Growcast device forms part of a self-managing mesh network, giving growers stable, scalable control of light intensity and schedules from a phone or tablet.

Growcast is operated through the Telos Mesh app on iOS and Android. The app provides full control across single or multi-fixture setups, allowing you to dial in dimming, automation, and timed cycles to suit your space and crop stage.

How Growcast works
Growcast draws power directly from Telos Dynamic fixtures, so no additional power cables are needed. Once paired in the Telos Mesh app, each Growcast communicates with other units in range, forwarding commands through the network instead of relying on a central controller. Adding more Growcast devices extends system range and reliability automatically.

Growcast enables full dimming control, automated scheduling, and advanced cycle management, replacing mechanical timers with precise, plant-focused PPFD control.

Why Growcast improves grow efficiency
Many traditional lighting controllers keep fixtures running at intensities plants cannot use once they reach saturation. This wastes electricity and can slow growth through temporary photosynthesis shutdown. Growcast allows growers to set accurate PPFD levels by stage, matching light delivery to real plant demand. This supports stronger development, reduces excess heat and energy waste, and helps achieve higher quality yields with better running costs.

Set-up and use
Installation is quick. Plug Growcast into a Telos Dynamic fixture, open the Telos Mesh app, and tap “add” to create or join a network. Once connected, fixtures can be grouped, scheduled, dimmed, and automated through the app. Each additional Growcast expands the mesh, improving coverage and stability.
